Wrapped Around

“I’ve been wrapped around her finger
Since the first time we went out
Every day, and every night she’s all I think about
I need that girl beside me
When the lights go out
I think it’s time to put a ring on the finger
I’m wrapped around”  – Brad Paisley

I’m not into country music, but when I heard the lyrics to the chorus of this song, I immediately thought of Minhee and Terry! Lol! ❤

I first met Minhee almost ten years ago when we went to Thailand together on a month long mission trip. We quickly became friends due to our similar personalities and we bonded over our faith, relationships and just plain girl talk. Over the years, Minhee was there for the many milestones in my life and was even one of my very own bridesmaids! She is someone who I can depend on, who always make me laugh and who really believes in me and I love her so much for that!

I am excited that not only has she asked my live.love.create girls to help plan and coordinate her special day, but my son will be her ring bearer as well! I hope he does a good job. ;P Even more, I am so ecsatic for her upcoming wedding because I was able to witness the start of her relationship with Terry, which was in the works slightly after our Thailand trip (yes, they have been together forever)! Mutual friends would joke that Minhee had Terry wrapped around her finger and although she denied it, it seemed like it could be true since Minhee can be pretty lovable and Terry always had the most romantic surprises for her, from hot air balloons to helicopter rides and for their engagement, fireworks! Yes, seriously, fireworks! It’s as if they are filming their own Korean drama….

…and we have pictures to prove it taken by Eric Chiu

I love the next set of photos because it really captures their relationship. ❤

かわいいカップル (Cute Couple)

If you follow our facebook or twitter, you may have seen a sneak peek photo of an e-session. Well, you don’t have to wait any longer cause today you get to see the amazing photos of our cute couple, Priscila & Sam!

We had the privilege of attending college with Priscila and even roomed with her our junior year. When you meet her, she has a quiet demeanor that reveals her sense of maturity as well as her Emily Post-esque etiquette, but don’t let that fool you because she has a wicked sense of humor that makes us crack up and is someone who knows what she wants and isn’t fazed by what others may think. She also loves Japanese culture and anime! She’s a lot of things rolled up into one. 😛 So knowing someone as interesting and unique as Priscila, we are so happy to know that she has met her match in Sam. We only had a brief chance to get to know Sam but we noticed the same quiet, proper and mature demeanor. In addition, we noticed how Sam really shows his affection for Priscila in all the ways he naturally takes care of her and is constantly mindful of her. All in all, we can tell that Priscila is always on his mind as well as in his heart.  A very cute couple indeed.

These next set of photos look like they came right out of a story book!

Yishan & Mike

I’m obligated by school affiliation to harbor feelings of dislike for this couple, but it’s not possible to do so when they’re highly organized, have an eye for design and detail, and choose Marvimon as their venue!

Yishan & Mike are part of the Trojan family, and through multiple degrees of separation as friends of Christine’s on one side, as well as friends of Janet’s husband on the other, we were “recruited” to be a part of their team for their wedding day.  And we’re glad of it!  The energy level among their guests and the happiness evident in Yishan & Mike made their wedding so memorable. We love you guys!

Photos taken by Elizabeth Lloyd

Yishan & Mike partnered with friends from Viva La Art, a non-profit that works with artists to raise funds for various groups by hosting live art events and auctions, to raise awareness about the organization.  They made buttons for the work of a few of their favorite Viva! artists that their guests could collect.  We collected the whole set ourselves!
