Jerry & Brody

Rick married a girl named Jennifer.  Pretty simple ~ but it gets a little confusing when you try to get all their nicknames right.

Rick’s full name is Broderick, but growing up he used to deny that was his real name, so no one ever called him that.  Eventually the older cousins all started to call him Ricky, but I was never allowed to since I was one of the “little” cousins.  But then at the wedding, the Maid of Honor dubbed him, Brody, and all of us thought, “Why didn’t we think of that?!”

When I met Jennifer, she became known as Jen/Jenn in our family.  But to her high school friends and other close friends she was known as Jerry.  Then another cousin started dating a Jennifer and everything just got really jumbled trying to figure out which Jen/Jenn/Jenny/Jennifer we were all talking about.

So I’m still trying to figure out what names to best call them by… but for now you all can get to know them as Jerry & Brody!

The wedding was a family affair!  Jen and her father worked together on cutting each of the wood chips for the escort cards, Rick’s sister, Kim, made and designed the cake, and yours truly, the “little” cousin, helped plan and coordinate it all!

 

They also paid their respects to both families through the Korean Traditional Paebaek Wedding Ceremony.

The caricaturist was such a hit!  We wanted one ourselves, but as you can see, we weren’t sitting in the right order…
